Over 70 people turned out, including family, friends, suppliers and clients. Everyone enjoyed the barbecue, drinks and games on a beautiful warm sunny September afternoon and we raised an amazing £3000 on the day. We would especially like to thank our suppliers and other businesses we work with for their generous donations.
The money raised is to be given to charity in memory of Managing Director, Phil Haines, who passed away in April. The money will be added to earlier donations made in Phil’s memory from all over the company including £1852 donated by the men on site in Hull. The total donations come to £7090.
The money will be split between these 3 charities who raise money for research and provide support for people with heart disease and their families.
British Heart Foundation, who fund over £100 million of research each year to look for cures and treatments for heart disease
