FSD are pleased to announce that Russell Jones has joined the Project Management Team at FSD.

Russell joins FSD after 6 years working with Atkins in Epsom as a mechanical engineer and project manager. During this time he worked for the Water Operations department on a number of clean and waste water projects for Southern Water and Sutton & East Surrey Water, including feasibility work, asset condition surveys and capital investment and maintenance schemes. In 2009 he moved to the Rivers and Coastal department, joining their mechanical team, again as a project manager and lead engineer, working on a number of Environment Agency projects for the regional areas and on the Thames Barrier. Russell’s time was split between project management and site supervision.

Prior to this, he worked at Black & Veatch, as a lead mechanical design engineer, working on projects such as Terminal 5 and Hampton WTW.

Outside of work, Russell’s interests include cars (he runs a BMW owners club), cycling, skiing and squash.
