FSD are pleased to announce the purchase of our first fully electric van.

This purchase is a major step on the path to converting FSD’s fleet of 40 vans to electric and FSD’s carbon goal of zero-emissions.

The recent improvements in battery technology, enabling better range and the extra power needed to transport heavy loads, has meant that the use of electric vans is now becoming more practical for our fleet. The installation of charging points at many of the external sites where we work has helped to make it possible for our drivers, who often travel a long distance to remote locations, to feel secure that they will get home safely.

This first van is a trial to see what extra infrastructure is needed and looking at costs and savings to help with planning for a cleaner, greener, zero-emissions future for FSD as well as supporting our clients to reach their net zero goals.
