The Directors of Field Systems Designs Limited are proud to announce that the company recently surpassed one million man-hours onsite without a RIDDOR Reportable Incident. The last RIDDOR occurred in June 2011.

This is a great achievement considering the high risk environment our employees work in.

In recent years, FSD has put in place a number of initiatives to protect the health and wellbeing of all its staff and sub-contractors, empowering the workforce to be more safety conscious.

In 2011 FSD was awarded a RoSPA Gold Award, in recognition of the company’s commitment to health & safety management, and this achievement has been repeated in 2012 and 2013.

The Near Miss Reporting has also proved to be a very powerful safety tool which has a daily impact on safety thinking. All onsite staff are encouraged to note both safe and unsafe practices and observations, and submit them for review and action; this has ensured that potential hazards are eliminated before they cause harm.
