FSD have been awarded a contract for design, supply, installation and commissioning of M&E works (together with incidental civil work) associated with the replacement of UV disinfection plants at four Southern Water sites (with a further 3 sites and potentially more to follow).
FSD have partnered with Saviour Engineering Services who will undertake the mechanical element of the works.
FSD will provide the supervision for all aspects of the work and will act as principle contractor for the projects.
The M&E scope covers the following works:
- Detailed M&E design including interfacing with the UV plant supplier
- Design and supply of sample system and associated sinks
- Supply of valves and instrumentation
- Fabrication of 250NB Stainless Steel pipework
- Removal of redundant M&E plant
- Installation of pipework, free issue actuators, free issue UV reactors
- Installation of free issue control panels and all associated cabling
- Provision of kiosk plinth and associated cable ducts (one site)
- Pipework disinfection
- Commissioning assistance
