The photos below show part of the first consignment of pipework to be supplied by FSD Mech since the formation of the mechanical division of FSD in summer 2012.

These are four of a total of twenty-eight 2m diameter pipes. They were bespoke rolled and welded by a specialist company from 12.5mm thick mild steel. After they were delivered to our Halesowen works, a total of 8 tie lugs were welded to each tube and they were then sent off to be FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy) coated.

This work is part of a contract worth in excess of £200,000 for Black & Veatch, and the pipework is destined for Coppermills Advanced Water Treatment works in North East London.
