Field Systems Designs have been accredited to the international Standard of ISO 9001:2000 since February 1995, and we have been successfully working to the Quality Management Systems set out within the standard without any major non-conformances since implementation.

Recently the standard has changed, updating to ISO 9001:2008. Our SHEQ Manager, Dave Wray, was tasked with successfully upgrading the procedures and QMS to fall in line with the new standard, and applying for the updated accreditation.

At a recent Audit conducted by BSI at the Beckton Desalinisation Project our Quality Management Systems and site-based paperwork/systems were scrutinised by the BSI auditor.

After 2 days and no non-conformances we have been successful in upgrading our accreditation to ISO 9001:2008.

We have also been successful in continuing our Environmental Standard ISO14001:2004.

We are delighted that our continuing high standards in Quality Management have been recognised and we will continue to strive for further improvement.
