During March next year Neil Cuthbert of MJ Gleeson will be donning his shorts and boots for a 100km, 7 day Trek across the Sahara Desert, Morocco in aid of The Royal Marsden Cancer Appeal.

The trek involves walking for up to 7 hours a day in the desert heat and camping out during the night.

FSD are taking a special interest in Neil’s expedition and have made a contribution toward his sponsorship goal, with the photo on the right showing Neil collecting his cheque from FSD’s Sales Director, Rob Owen.

The Royal Marsden is the oldest hospital in the world dedicated to cancer treatment and education. Together with it’s Institute of Cancer Research it undertakes more than 450 clinical trials a year and is at the forefront of the development of new anti-cancer drugs.
